Back in July 2011we did a bit of fundraising for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), I was clearing down the archives and found a short time-lapse which I shot over the course of the day. Have a read about the charity and the building we assailed down, a great cause and great friends attempting to be boys… Check it out!
MAG (Mines Advisory Group)
Registered charity number 1083008
MAG is giving us the chance to join the FIRST EVER charity abseil off the National Lift Tower in Northampton.
This local treasure and youngest Grade II Listed Building has never before seen so many feet tread upwards to its 400 foot peak to make the huge descent to the bottom again, down the outside!
This won’t be a walk in the park, but it will be a chance to see the city like never before whilst raising vital funds for MAG’s lifesaving clearance operations worldwide.
About the charity
A neutral, impartial humanitarian organisation clearing the remnants of conflict, enabling recovery and assisting the development of affected people. We consult with communities to reduce the threat of death and injury, release safe land and vital resources, and help to develop their potential.
